Athens Flying Week 2016
17 & 18 September

Athens Flying Week, one of the most prestigious aviation events in Europe, is back for its annual date with the public, on September 17 and 18, 2016, at Tanagra Air Base.

The “Athens Flying Week International Air Show” has grown and is now taking off from the 114 Combat Wing in Tanagra. This aerodrome offers practically unlimited space for spectators who, for the first time, will be able to get up close to their favourite jets as they take off and land. They will be able to admire all the aircraft in the largest static display in recent years; be photographed next to them together with their pilots; and enjoy unique moments and experiences with world renowned aerobatic champions and jet fighter display pilots, in stunning unique choreographies in the air!

A host of international participants will display theirs skills at the hospitable Tanagra airbase. The air show programme will also showcase foreign and Greek model aircraft makers; for our visitors we have set up a multi-sectoral trade fair, a variety of restaurants, spacious bars, original happenings and, as always, a play area for the little ones!
