Kritsa

Situated in the central square of Portaria, Kritsa is one of the oldest taverns of Pelion that has been operating since 1913. Kritsa tavern stands out for its homemade local recipes and its authentic Greek cuisine dishes. In the warm atmosphere of Kritsa, you will have the opportunity to taste exquisite dishes including homemade past, spetzofai (a dish made with sausages and peppers) made with a local recipe and pork with leeks and wild celery, rooster in red sauce, sautéed greens with herbs and eggs, and rabbit in a pot.
Agnanti

Agnanti distinguishes as one of the most beautiful taverns in Pelion. Located at the square of Taxiarhes in Tsagarada, Agnanti is famous for the combination of traditional Greek dishes with those of the Mediterranean region. Graviera cheese cooked on stone, beef with smoked cheese and sun dried tomatoes, cured beef pie and linguine with wild mushrooms and jam are some of the finest dishes of Agnanti.
O Pileas

In the square of Pinakates, the former cafeteria of the village has become a tavern serving delicious food from the Pappas family.Evangelia, the mother, creates the pies and the salads while her son, Kostas, grills and spits the meat and Apostolos, the other son, makes sure that everything is perfect.Taste the traditional pies, wild boar with prunes, rooster with noodles, meatballs with wine sauce and goat with lemon.
O Palios Stathmos

Named after the legendary train station of “Moutzouris” at lovely Milies, O Palios Stathmos (the old station) stands as one of your best dining options in Milies. It has a wide variety of homemade specialties made with traditional recipes from fresh ingredients such as the beef roll wrapped in baking paper, tenderloin with mustard sauce, gioulbasi with beef and veal with plums. During the summer, visitors can enjoy the picturesque view from the tables on the ravine under the shade of the plane trees.
Dipnosofistis

In an idyllic environment under the trees on the old road to Mylopotamos, Dipnosofistis restaurant promises to satisfy even the most demanding customers. Traditional flavors from the Mediterranean and international cuisine are harmoniously combined in a unique way. Such dishes include aromatic burger topped with blue cheese sauce and lamb in a pot with honey and thyme. The best seller is the risotto with mushrooms. The wine list of Dipnosofistis features mostly local wines. In the winter, Dipnosofistis is open only on weekends and holidays.

Gefsokratoras

Antonis Tsolakoudis, the chef and owner, turned the old bakery and grocery store of 1900 into an atmospheric restaurant with antique furniture, which relives the glory of the past with the gramophone, the wooden carved chair and the utensils on the walls in front of the fireplace. Some of the finest dishes of Gefsokratoras include caramelized pancetta, veal shank with roasted pumpkin , flambé chicken in cognac and butter with roast potatoes and pasta in truffle and parmesan sauce.

For decades, the family tavern of Makis welcomes travellers at the entrance of lovely Kissos village. Cooked dishes crafted with love and meat on the spit is the strong point of this cute tavern. Don’t miss the stuffed cabbage, the pork cooked in vine, the pumpkin pie, youvetsi and rabbit in red sauce follow from local tsipouro! Our favorite, however, was goat, lamb or veal meat in baking paper cooked in the oven! All the vegetables of the salads come from the vegetable garden! As fresh as it gets!

Manolas

The finest seafood tavern, however, could not opt out from our list! If you are looking for fresh fish and seafood by the sea, head to Manolas in the fishing harbor of Agia Kyriaki. Crayfish and lobster pasta, fried shrimps and prawns, grilled octopus and calamari, fresh mussels, sea urchin salad! Manola’s products are produced exclusively from Trikeri anglers, always fresh and delicious!
